About Us

The WVLC Programme for East African water professionals was developed from the existing Lake Victoria Training Programme (LVTP) on Conservation and Management of Tropical Freshwater Ecosystems (lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands, reservoirs, and groundwater).

The United Nations University International Network on Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) in partnership with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) has developed a distance learning program in Integrated Water Resources Management.
