Prof. Eric Odada

I am currently undertaking a strategic assessment of water resources vulnerability to environmental change in Africa for UNEP-DEWA, and working with UNFAO on a study of water-related environmental impacts in agriculture. I am also leading a research consortium of African, European and North American scientists involved in promoting the investigations of African Great Lakes as archives of climatic and environmental dynamics (IDEAL) Programme. I have published over one hundred papers in peer reviewed international journals and many books on Ecology, hydrology, climatology and biodiversity of African Great Lakes and their Basins.
